Choosing an Intensive Workshop from the descriptions below:
Policy Advocacy in Action builds on the Storytelling for Organizing & Policy Advocacy intensive training and equips participants with real-world experiences at the Florida State Capitol, meeting with legislators to share personal and collective stories as tools for transformation and educational advocacy.
Restorative Avenues in Practice: From Foundations to Facilitation is an intensive interactive workshop, led by Connection First, which takes participants on a journey through the foundations and practice of Restorative Justice. Blending storytelling with hands-on skill building, the session equips both new and experienced practitioners to navigate real-world facilitation with confidence.
Whole School Restorative Systems is an intensive training where participants will both learn the details of how this system was implemented and continues to function, and also build the practical capacity to hold effective circles using empathetic communication skills.
Move and Be Moved is a participatory intensive workshop bringing together local dance, song, story, ensemble Structures for Change, and core members of the Tallahassee Bail Fund to fashion the everyday work of collective liberation through connective, embodied, and de-carceral practices of freedom dreaming and direct action.
